A few candid shots from M. B. Weston's book singings.
These are my dear friends, the Kobza's. They took me to Annapolis to visit the Naval Academy so I could do research on Out of the Shadows. I must mention Andrew (the boy in the black shirt) is one of my biggest fans, or he will kill me. (LOL)
We are laughing because he told me to to sign the book, "To the Sexiest Man Alive." He is, tee hee.
Bob (Robert Dean Bair) is the author of the book, The Cloisters of Canterbury. Here he is, supporting me at my first book signing.
I will always consider Jim my first fan. He read the manuscript for A Prophecy Forgotten at the age of 9, and his excitement made me believe that I had something.
I held the first wave of my booksigning at PJ's Coffee of New Orleans where I signed and sold books. Here are two fans. Notice the shirts!!!
This is my friend Rob from high school. We're laughing because he told me to pretend I was signing his high school yearbook when I couldn't figure out what to write.
This is future Academy Award winner, Brian Carnell, who is one of my advance readers. I'm signing his T-shirt.
I spoke at the Longshore Lake Book Club. I was slightly nervous because adult women in book clubs are not necessarily my target market, but all of them loved the story--even the ones who didn't like fantasy.
The woman to the right of me brought a book that her daughter had bought after I spoke to Laurel Oak Elementary School. Her daughter wanted me to sign it, which I did.
I got to dress up like Gabriella and pimp A Prophecy Forgotten during the Brisingr Party. A great promotional opportunity!
